Matthew McNelly, 23 years 

old and Joey Miller, 20, dreamed of being rich, quickly.

So, they put their heads together and decided to come up with a crafty plan to break into a private flat in Carroll, Iowa.

Every little detail was ironed out.

Especially the part where they had to make sure no one would recognise them.

And by no one, I mean, not even their own mother.

What was this cunning plan, you ask? These two mastermind decided not to use balaclavas or even pantihose in order to go unnoticed, but instead to draw on each other's faces with an indelible black pen:

As you'd expect, the police had no trouble arresting these two suspects. Strange.
