They weigh about 20 g but have traveled more than 5000 km in flight

They crossed the Sahara desert.

They flew over the Mediterranean Sea without even being able to rest.

They fought against stormy winds and storms.

They did something extraordinary.

And all this to come and reproduce right in that little corner of our house, under the roof.

A single swallow can consume up to 850 flies and mosquitoes per day.

If we were lucky enough to host a nest of this species in our family environment, the pair alone could eliminate around 1,700 flies and mosquitoes per day.

There is no more effective and ecological insecticide.
